Missing Playlists

Experts,

I have a couple dozen playlists in iTunes, but lately only about five of them show up on my iPod.  I'm syncing like I always do, but for some reason, not all the playlists are being downloaded.

How do I fix this?

Probably because EE keeps categories you've chosen from previous questions, which is sometimes helpful and sometimes not.
I don't see iTunes anywhere on my machine.  When I try to re-download it, it immediately thanks me for downloading iTunes, even though no program has executed.
So in short, it acts like iTunes is on my machine, yet I don't see it in any program list and it doesn't pop up when I attach my iPod.
how have you been syncing if you can't find itunes on your machine? can you see it in program files?
Good question.  I reinstalled iTunes (having no idea why it wasn't still installed), but I'm still only getting about 5 playlists out of probably at least 30.

I'll try that later on when I get home.
Still getting the same error.   Something strange is going on.

I have "entire music library checked" instead of "Selected Playlists, Artists, and Genres".  Everything was working perfectly before and the settings haven't changed.
My problem is still unsolved, but these suggestions were good.
