Can you prevent adobe acrobat from printing a document?

I have a pdf document that I want to print but I get an error.  Is this a setting locked in acrobat or is there a problem with the file?  Can I print using another program?

In Acrobat click on File->Properties. It will tell you if printing is allowed in this document. If it is allowed then we can more to the next step of determining why it can't print.

It says that printing is allowed.  When I try to print adobe says,"This document cannot be printed" and I get the first page printed and the 2nd page says:
ERROR:  invaliderestore
OFFENDING COMMAND:  restore
STACK:
-savelevel-

any thoughts?
The error appears to be related to PostScript -> http://www.prepressure.com/postscript/troubleshooting/errors/invalidrestore

Try printing to another printer if you can. Sometimes Adobe does stupid things like not letting you print by clicking on the print icon, in which case you should click on File-> Print. Also I have seen it do crazy stuff like printing from Acrobat but not from within a browser.

Try removing and reinstalling Acrobat and if that doesn't work then install free FoxIt PDF reader -> www.foxitsoftware.com
I don't have a problem with other pdf files just this one.  I don't have Admin rights to install foxit.  Any other thoughts?
