new email user does not show up in domain contact list

i have a newer user(1 week old), her email address does not populate the company address book. on mdaemon 10.0.1

everyone else is ok, other users who are 2 weeks old or older populate the address just fine. did my tech miss a setting while setting her up?

Delete the user and recreate it, that usually fixes it.  I have had to do that in the past.  it might be a glitch or oversight....
Alternatively, stop and restart the mdaemon service.

Stop and restarting the service did not work. i'd rather not delete the user and start over again, any other ideas?
anyone? wheres moorhouse when i need him?!
there may be 2 reasons why it is not showing.
1. it could be hiden. Click on Account | Account Manager | Edit the account in question | Under Options make sure this is not private. If it is uncheck the box.
2. Also try this
Click on Accounts | Exporting | Export Accounts and List names to public address book.
Let me know if this helps ?
No luck, the account was not private.
Did exporting out the account let it show up in the address book ?
No it did not.
Can you provide information as to how your account information is stored ? Are you using the userlist.dat file from the MDaemon\App directory. Active Directory or some other type of database.

You are correct it is stored in the userlist.dat and the people in question are not in the userlist.dat. can i add them on there?
The question may be out of date -- but I solve this problem by occassionally deleting the contents of the \MDaemon\Public Folders\domain.IMAP\Contact.IMAP folder.  Depending on the level of activity, I have to stop MDaemon so that there are no locks on any of the files.  Then I do the Export Accounts and Lists to Global Address Book step.   I have seen duplicate entries in the ADDRBOOK.MRK file otherwise, or seen it swell to 30x larger in size than "normal" and this fixes it.

I may have a couple of users who accidentally have the can modify global address book flag turned on that I need to catch.
