Setting Firewall Settings Via Group Policy in Windows 7

Hi Experts,

I wonder if somebody can help me to identify the quickest way to apply policies to Windows 7 (be that a guide to extracting an ADM template from Windows 7 itself or download.  More specifically, I want to change some firewall settings centrally (allowing a program to run under domain which is usually a tickbox from Control Panel in Windows 7).  This will save me visiting every PC to change this manually.

thanks

Hi,

To gain benefits of the GPO settings for Windows 7, you have to create and administer the GPO's from
a Windows 2008 or Windows 7 machine.

On the Windows 7 client install RSAT for Windows 7:

I hope this helps,

Thanks guys.

Not really sure where to go once the package is downloaded and installed.  How do I open the software mentioned in this tutorial?
