Domino 8.0.1 server not responding

I copied the our production server to another server for testing . I copied the notes.ini and names.nsf. But When i started the serve it is not listening in the port 1533 and clients are not able to connect to server and giving the message server not responding. When i telnet to port 1533 is not not getting connected.

Also, make sure the test server isn't on your "live" network! Two Domino servers with the same name is a serious problem.
I assume you also used the same ?

Does your log.nsf say anything in the Miscellaneous view? Or the console on start up?
1533 is your Sametime port?
Can you access server on standard Domino NRPC port 1352?

yes same server id. I was giving netbios error for lanport. I renamed it.
Do you telnet to server name or IP address?
Is DNS running (and you have Domino server name mapped to IP address there)?
Can you access server by entering IP address in Open application dialog (ctrl + o) > "Look in" field.
if you cannot ping the address and telnet the correct port then it's obviously not Domino problem (if it's up and running), but lowest, network layer problem.
