connecting phones to Cisco 3810 with AVM installed

i just bought a used MC3810 router that has an AVM installed with 6 rj11 ports... one is labeled FXS, one is FXO and one E&M... what do these mean and what do i need to do to hook phones up to it? i just want the phones to call each other internally

also i want to add that it had IOS version mc3810-i-mz-212-5.T9.bin and did not seem to recognize the phone interfaces. what IOS can I put on it? I tried loading one that I think has voice on it but I guess it was too big because it kept saying "unexpected end" when loading it....

is there a smaller one that will support the voice and t1 module? I only have like 40MB of RAM, or am i going to have to upgrade the RAM? i'm kinda in the dark here

Yes, they able to call each other (on individual ports), if you connected via FXS!

well i'll have to get another FXS module then, but most importantly i don't seem to be able to get the IOS to load. the one that it came with didn't recognize the cards at all... i just installed one that errored out repeatedly... will try another one in a moment. kind of frustrated

i can't do any of that... i can't find a working IOS. everyone I try loading , I first get an error "unexpected end of file" then it reloads and starts printing the following:

c54x_state_readyWARNING: DSP type unknown & defaulted to C542
c54x_state_readyWARNING: DSP type unknown & defaulted to C542
c54x_state_readyWARNING: DSP type unknown & defaulted to C542

it prints that so fast on the screen i can't input any commands. over and over again. this is the 3rd IOS I have now tried.
