ZFS dedup availability on Sparc

I have a couple of sparc systems running Solaris 10 (most on update 4) that I would like to get the dedup capability release last year for opensolaris.

I have searched the Sun/Oracle site using my sunsolve login but I have not been able to find anything on installing dedup on sparc.

Does anyone have any pointers or suggestions on this.

Dedup is currently only available on opensolaris 2009.06 afaik. If it were, by now I'm sure I would've swtiched it on the thumpers otherwise...

To be clear, dedup is not available on Solaris 10 at this time. It is available on OpenSolaris, regardless of the arch. Install the latest OpenSolaris and you will have dedup from ZFS on sparc. Other than that, you are out of luck.

Looks like I will have to wait. The Solaris sparc server I want this for is a larger infrastructure server that includes: JumpStart, DHCP, PXE, NetBackup (that is what I want it for), SNMP manager etc.  I'm not up to the task of reinstalling it to opensolaris at this point.

Hopefully it will become available for Solaris 10 in the next 6 - 8 months

Thanks for the input, I was looking for something at Sun that was not their.
