"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

What is the "public" folder? Is that something that you created or something that is on their panel that allows you to browse the files on your site?

Does it make a difference if you use your website name with an initial 'www' at the beginning of the address, versus not using it. I've had a problem before where my traffic was going to my domain name but not to the site name with 'www' at the beginning.

You might have to setup subdomains or talk to the provider if you don't have access to do it.
