Has anyone connected a JVC IP Camera to Zoneminder?

I'm trying to set up Zoneminder and the only camera I have is a JVC IP Camera.  I'm struggling with the basic theory of how this should work...but I wonder if I can't get it to work because the framegrabber in Zoneminder doesn't support activeX....

I can view a streaming image on the camera's viewer through IE but when I set up Zoneminder with a remote monitor, the remote heading shows up red in the application and, I guess I just don't know what I should be getting if Zoneminder is working correctly....

If anyone has successfully connected a JVC camera to Zoneminder and wouldn't mind providing some tips...I'd appreciate it.

You should use a camera that is known to be compatible with the ZoneMinder software. Here is the hardware compatibility list:

The most support ZoneMinder has for a JVC camera is for a JPG capture and even that has only been tested with one model.
