Auto Reply Technical Functionality

How Auto Reply works? I mean technically how does it recognized it is a MS Office 2007 with Exchange 2003.

The Problem -
Basically we have implemented Avaya CCE 4 in our call center. Currently we are experiencing that "Auto Reponse" is looping back within the organization and in some cases from external emails.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes - Software or Outlook or Exchange keep on sending back and forth.

What exactly do you mean with looping back?

Sometimes auto reply's stay in a sort of loop when the reciever also uses an auto reply. This way the software keeps sending back and forth.

For internal messages you could track where they come from. Maybe someone set an outlook auto-reply. You could also check to see if there are options in your auto reply software to set a maximum number of reply's within a period of time.
