Xerox Phaser 8560DN printer will not print duplex

Xerox Phaser 8560DN printer will not print duplex. From print command window, I choose "Properties" and then "2-Sided Print" from the 2-Sided Printing drop-down and then OK. Yet, it printed on 2 pages and not front & back of one page. Any ideas?

What kind of paper are you using, and from which tray? The printer will not duplex from Tray 1 (bypass tray) or on card.

I am using plain white paper from tray 2.

Does this happen from all applications or just one? If so, which application?

It happens from all aaplications, what I was able to to do is reselect the paper size, reselect the 2 sided printing even if it was pre selected and it worked.

I included the screen shots of what I had my co workers do to be able to print, I would like to be able to do it automatically if at all possible.

There would appear to be something wrong with the driver; it should remember and use the settings.

You may want to reinstall it from scratch. This would need to be done on the server (if you are using one) and then on the PCs.

To reinstall, go to Printers & Faxes. First delete the printer. Then, from the File menu select Server Properties. Click the Drivers tab and remove all instances of the printer from the list. Then reinstall from the CD or from a downloaded copy of the driver.
