print "string contains question mark\n" if $string =~ m/\?/g; #works, although the g is unnecessary

hi thanks but I cannot get it to work

I need to find out if a URL has a questio mark in the middle like

it should return true if there is a question mark or false if there is not but it always return false I guess the question mark is some kind of reserved char
print $string =~ m/\?/g?"true":"false"; #prints "true"
