USB printer not recognised
I have a Kyocera 1350DN connected via usb, it installed OK first time but when moved to another PC the installer does not recognise it. So I tried to install it manually and i get an error printing a test page: "The selected tcpip port is connected to a network printer that does not match the current driver."
The print out says:
Subsystem: KERNEL
Error: Unsuported Protocol
operator: 0x0
Position: 0
Can anyone help?

I thoroughly dislike using usb for printers. In my opinion it is to be avoided at all costs. As your printer has a network port, why not use that?
Hi ,
And onmorething first install the drivers and softwares. Then it will ask u to plug the printer USB. Or else after complete the installtion then plug the USB then use it.
Note: Dont insert the USB and install the software.
Sometime it may malfunction.
