I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Maybe your mail file had exceeded its quota.

Also, This issue can occur if the Maximum Attachment Size option in the Mail section of the Domino Web Access tab in the Domino server's Configuration document is set to a value larger than 35GB.

If it works from the internal LAN but doesn't work from the internet, then it is not a Domino configuration issue, but a network issue.  Yes there is a firewall or filtering router (probably several) between your internet-connected user and your server.
