TCP port 1110 opening lots of instances

HI. Just looking for some advice. I have found that my computer has many instances of port 1110 open. They are all looking at the localhost but I can’t find what is causing the issue.

I have a suspicion that it may be Skype but I can’t find any reason for this online. I understand that Skype is a P2P program and wonder whether it is this that is causing the issue.

Has anyone else come across this and if so is it normal behaviour?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you use Kaspersky products then it's perfectly normal so ignore it.

Thanks for the info.

I ran the netstat -anob and it did show Kaspersky hogging the ports.
