We are running Symantec Endpoint 11 in a Citrix environment and we are finding that when closing the Citrix application the connection to the Citrix server remains open. It appears that the Symantec software is &quot;holding onto&quot; the connection. <br />

Is there anyway of resoling this? <br />

We are running Symantec Endpoint 11 in a Citrix environment and we are finding that when closing the Citrix application the connection to the Citrix server remains open. It appears that the Symantec software is "holding onto" the connection.

Citrix and Symantec Endpoint 11

Anti-virus software was originally developed to detect and remove computer viruses. However, with the proliferation of other kinds of malware, antivirus software started to provide protection from other computer threats. Citrix is the synonym for the virtualization and application infrastructure systems developed by the company of the same name. Main areas are application virtualization, Software-As-A-Service (SaaS), cloud-computing and networking. The two most well-known are Citrix XenApp or Citrix CloudPlatform.
