I think I got the idea behind it. &nbsp;When you create a &quot;New&quot; admx, you are basically viewing ALL the settings available in the entire store, unless you put a filter on it. &nbsp;I can see where a newly created admx does not see old polices. &nbsp;

I can't figure out what I am missing. &nbsp;I have a Windows 2003 domain, XP, and a few test Windows 7 workstation. &nbsp;I've installed RSAT on a Windows 7 unit and copied the admx and adml files to my domain %systemroot%\sysvol\domain<wbr />\policies\<wbr />PolicyDefi<wbr />nitions\ and %systemroot%\sysvol\domain<wbr />\policies\<wbr />PolicyDefi<wbr />nitions\en<wbr />-us respectively.<br />

I have turned on the RSAT feature and can open the GPMC, viewing my current ADMs. &nbsp;I can start to create a new admx file, but I fail to understand how I open existing admx files or remove admx files if they are part of the default (when created anew.)<br />
