Error when using Tranporter Suite IMAP to Exchange

Hi,

I have installed an Exchange 2007 box, which I eventually hope to bump up to Exchange 2010, but want to use the Microsoft Transporter Suite to migrate across a whole load of IMAP and POP3 email accounts. I am following the instructions located here: -

http://www.msexchange.org/articles-tutorials/exchange-server-2007/migration-deployment/migrating-pop/imap-exchange-server-2007-microsoft-transport-suite-part1.html

Which all seem straight forward. When however, I click on the "Migrate Selected Mailboxes" I get this error box (attached image) come up.

I have applied all patches and security roll ups etc. But just can't find any info on this error. Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Andrew

that is pretty strange issue, but the error is an Exchange one not the transported, have you applied SP2 and rollup updates to the Exchange server

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I have applied SP2 and all rollup updates. Checking the version in EMC for the server shows Version 8.2 (Build 176.2).

Thanks.

Hi,

Ok, checked the event viewer. No actual errors but everytime I hit the migrate selected mailboxes bit in the tranport suite, 8 identical information events are logged in the powershell log container. The contents of the event are :-

Event Type:      Information
Event Source:      PowerShell
Event Category:      (4)
Event ID:      400
Date:            13/04/2010
Time:            10:55:13
User:            N/A
Computer:      EXCHANGE1
Description:
The description for Event ID ( 400 ) in Source ( PowerShell ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: Available, None,       NewEngineState=Available
      PreviousEngineState=None

      SequenceNumber=8

      HostName=Exchange Management Console
      HostVersion=8.0.0.0
      HostId=35713d15-28ed-410f-8835-cbfa930886c4
      EngineVersion=1.0.0.0
      RunspaceId=93cf0f84-e0f9-4584-9d35-5bcc7b860e0d
      PipelineId=
      CommandName=
      CommandType=
      ScriptName=
      CommandPath=
      CommandLine=.

Googling it a bit doesn't really come up with much, but does that give any clues ? Thanks for your help on this!

Thanks,

Andrew

Brilliant - completely accidentally downloaded the 32bit rather than the 64bit! Works perfectly now, thanks for your help.
