I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi Bro,

use this PowerShell Command

Get-DistributionGroup | ? {$_.RequireSenderAuthenticationEnabled -eq $True}

or

Get-Group | ? {$_.RequireSenderAuthenticationEnabled -eq $True}

Will this list all groups without the tick in the Domain. Or just an Ou
Can we mention the OU path
0
Hilal1924Commented:
It will list all groups with "Required That all senders are authenticated" enabled or checked (Ticked). If you need groups who are not checked (Unticked) do this:

Get-DistributionGroup | ? {$_.RequireSenderAuthenticationEnabled -eq $False}

Or
Get-Group | ? {$_.RequireSenderAuthenticationEnabled -eq $False}

Yes you can specify OU but that  will require you to specify ADSI path.

Has Powershell sent you back into the Stone Age?

If managing Active Directory using Windows Powershell® is making you feel like you stepped back in time, you are not alone.  For nearly 20 years, AD admins around the world have used one tool for day-to-day AD management: Hyena. Discover why.

Get-DistributionGroup | where {$_.OrganizationUnit -eq "OU"} | ? {$_.RequireSenderAuthenticationEnabled -eq $False}

replace "OU" with the name of your Organization Unit. Test it and let me know if it worked for you.

Sorry 1 more Q. Should the Ou be just the OU name?
Or like
OU=Name,Ou=Name,DC=Domain

Hilal1924Commented:
Use this Command Instead:
Get-DistributionGroup |? {$_.RequireSenderAuthenticationEnabled -eq $False}|ftDisplayName,OrganizationalUnit,EmailAddresses,OriginatingServer -auto

It will give you the Info.

Hilal
Get-DistributionGroup |? {$_.RequireSenderAuthenticationEnabled -eq $False} |ft DisplayName,OrganizationalUnit,EmailAddresses,OriginatingServer -auto

Open in new window
