Configuration for Cisco Aironet 1200 Series

I have 3 Cisco Aironet 1200 series APs here with 2 radios, and I'd like to set them all up to be able to access the LAN via one radio and internet only (for clients/vendors) with Radio 2.  Vlans are already configured correctly.

I'd like to have WPA(2) for both Radios, DHCP provided by the APs and broadcasting their SSIDs.

Does anyone have any templates that would accomplish this?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I would recommend that you not use WPZ2 for your Private Wireless network.  It would be best that you configure RADIUS authentication.  By doing this, your internal users would use their logged on credentials for WIreless access.

Another option this would benefit you with is 802.1x Wireless logon.

Please take a look at this topic post of mine for further info.

Sorry for the delayed reply here.

Okay, I've set up a RADIUS/IAS server.

Just to be clear, in the config you provided in that link, I'm a bit confused by what numbers you're using for what VLANs, and confused regarding the bridge groups.

Now, I see that your VLAN 1 is your Private and VLAN 300 is your public. But when I replace those numbers with my VLANs, doesn't seem to work.
Woudl you be able to plug in the numbers for me and repaste the config?
VLAN my AP is sitting on: 21
VLAN used for user access: 30
VLAN used for Public access: 33

Also, I'm not able to run the "dot11" and "mbssid" commands.

Did you config the port on your switch that the AP is connected to for trunking? You need to do this so that it can access two VLAN from a single port.

Since I have configured only two VLANs, VLAN1 is my corporate network and VLAN300 is the Guest network for the AP.

Looks like you have three vlans.  YOu will need to configure switchport access to trunk between three vlans.

now for the commands that aren't working, is your AP set to run in autonomous mode or to use a Wireless Lan Controller?

Yes, I've configured my switchport for trunking to use all required VLANs.

In my case, the AP is sitting on a hardware VLAN (21) but the switchport is configured for access to both the hardware and users VLAN (30).

How can I see if its running in autonomous mode or to use a wireless lan controller?
