Blackberry Bold will sync everything but calendar items

I'm having trouble synching my Blackberry Bold using Desktop Manager 4.2. It syncs contact items but when it tries to sync calendar items it says "please wait" and closes out. The sync never takes place. I'm running Outlook 2000 with Exchange Server 2000. I can't upgrade desktop manager because it doesn't support Outlook 2000. I have tried to clear my phone calendar items and resync but it still didn't work. I also deleted the Blackberry Application folder which also didn't work. Any help on this would be appreciated.

What will those commands do? I don't want my Outlook 2000 view reset to default

Hi, first ensure that in Options > Advanced Options > Default Services that the Calendar is set as per the CMIME and SYNC entries.  If this still fails ensure Outlook is closed and press START > RUN and then issue the following two commands:

outlook.exe /cleanviews
outlook.exe /resetfolders
