how to install chroot virus check-spyware check pacakages in fedora 11

I suspect- my fedora 11 desktop might have been infected or some spyware is sitting somewhere in the system which might have slowed down my ps.

I tried to install few virus scanning pacakges- rkhunter, avg for linux and etc...I have a problem in installing them first and use for scanning.

I am sort of newbie in Linux- due to dependency or missing required plug-ins - I'm not able to install those packages.

Any good and detail documented help would be appreciated. Thank you

thank you
For easy installation and running up, you should run this command to install rkhunter, chkrootkit and clamav (instead of avg free), clamtk is front-end for using clamav

yum install rkhunter chkrootkit clamav clamtk

For using rkhunter check its man page or
For using chkrootkit check its man page

Hope this help
