PO amount not released from budget

I now have two purchase orders that have been cancelled in Dynamics and the value of the PO is still costed against the budget. This is causing additional POs that are raised against this budget being rejected.

Any know how to fix this?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I don't know PA well enough to answer, but I checked with a colleague who offered this response:

If they cancel the PO it should reduce committed cost.  They can try and run reconcile on committed cost, and it may fix it.  Under Utilities --> Project -> PA reconcile, mark the Committed Costs option.

I would recommend making sure that you have a backup before you run the reconcile, just in case.

Let me know if that helps.
