How to enable admin$ share

Does anyone know of any tool that is capable of remotely enabling the IPC$/admin$ share of Windows XP SP2? Obviously I know the username and
password of an account that has admin priviliages on that pc.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I have run into this before and usually it is not an issue of the admin share being disabled. Please check firewall settings and make sure you are able to ping the machine. You also should be able to use windows explorer to navigate to \\pcname\c$. If you are running psexec you can try to add the -s switch to run under the system account (obviously you need an admin account to access the system account)
