NTP server - internet time

I have set up our PDC emulator to obtain time from a 2 Strata NTP on the internet.
1. How can I check that the time is actually being correlated with the server specified?
2. Can you suggest good, robust and free-access NTP servers in the UK or around the world? I'm looking for something solid, unlikely to wind down unexpectedly (university or such).

Thanks in advance,

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Execute net time on the PDC. This should display the configured server
