Calendar Month View - default behavior on double-click

When using the Month view in the Outlook 2007 calendar, the default behavior if you double-click to start a new appointment is to make it an all day event.  If you uncheck that, you have to manually change the end time from 24 hours to whatever you want it to be.

Is there a way to change that default behavior to start a new appointment instead of a new all day event?

I know there's a simple workaround but I just want to know if it's possible to change that default.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hello QBUser, unfortunately I am afraid the answer is no you can't modify that option. Here is a link to an explanation as to why the calendar behaves that way. See Post (643568 (Second Post)) Hope this helps.
