Autoroute, Server 2003 Terminal Services Hang

Is there anyone with any experience of autoroute? We have autoroute on a Terminal Server and every so often the application hangs. Event Logs show about 8 Event ID 11014. There is also an application hang, Event ID 1002.

The description for Event ID ( 11014 ) in Source ( RouteService ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: Failed to open MapPoint routing construction file. See the documentation for details..

Event ID 1002
Hanging application AcroRd32.exe, version 9.0.0.332, hang module hungapp, version 0.0.0.0, hang address 0x00000000.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I dont know about Event ID 11014 but the Event ID 1002 is pointing at your Adobe Reader application hanging.  This is not all that uncommon as it happens on my Terminal Server from time to time.  I would recommend uninstalling Adobe Reader and cleaning up the old installation directories then reinstalling the most recent version.  Otherwise I would not worry about the Adobe hang unless users are complaining or you are concerned.   Good Luck
