GPMC - Adding a site to Trusted Sites

I go to my GPMC --> My IE GPO --> edit --> user / IE Maintentance / Security Zones and content ratings (double click) / import the current security zones / continue / modify settings / trusted sites / sites ...  and the problem is everything is greyed out.

I figure I need to set the security settings in IE on the server but they are greyed out there also.

I do have one item in there so I know I had it at one point but I am unable to find how.

Thanks for the help!

please try the following:
Admin Templates\Windows Components\Internet Explorer\Internet Control Panel\Security Page
Site to Zone Assignment List
and add your site with a value of 2 (trusted sites)

Do you have a policy preventing you from changing those settings?  If so you will have to turn that policy off, restart, then do the above procedure.  After the import just turn it back on.

Look under Computer Config, Policies, Admin Templates, Windows Componets, Internet Explorer, Internet Control Panel, Security Page

Try this when you have the option to import the settings. Choose the option not to and then hit modify. I just tried this on mine and it worked fine.

What version of IE do you have on your workstation?  Have you extended GPO with the IE7/8 ADM file so that you can manage it?

This was the solution I used originally but forgot. I found my original added site in a GPO I had not thought it was in.  Thank you for the help.
