Video oreintation problem after conversion from .MOV to...

Using the following, I am able to convert .MOV to .AVI format; but, after the conversion the video is rotated 90 degrees to the left (a person standing on the original video shows horizontally after the conversion):

Name: Pazera Free MOV to AVI Converter
Version: 1.2

Question: How can I have the converted format keep the orientation of the video the same as the original?

Is the some setting on the iPhone or on this conversion software I need to pay attention to?

Thank you.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

But, when I filmed it holding the iPhone horizpntally, it came out right. If not clear at this point, you need to try it to see it.
