What settings are needed to consol into an HP Procurve switch using Hyper Termin.

Trying to access the switch via console port, I have the Hyper termin settings as follows
Bits per second  9600
Data Bits 8
Parity None
Stop Bits 1
Flow Control None.

that should be fine. when the blank white window comes up after you accept those settings hit enter once or twice and you should get the procurve login

Thanks for responding it didn't work but I did find the settings on the HP site.
¦Any baud rate from 2400 to 115200 (the switch automatically senses the speed).
¦8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity, XON/XOFF flow control.
¦For Windows Terminal program, also disable (uncheck) the “Use Function, Arrow, and Ctrl Keys for Windows” option.

I need to use the Xon/Xoff flow control.
