Exchange 2010 Connection dropped due to SocketError

We recently installed an Exchange 2010 Server and we are having some problems sending emails to certain domains.  One domain we are having problems with is  Email is stuck in the queue with 4.2.2 Connection dropped due to SocketError.

When I telnet to 25 from our email server it connects but as soon as a try and type any commands it disconnects.  It appears to be something with our email server because I can telnet to 25 from a different computer and it connects and I can issues commands without being disconnected.

I also noticed when I telnet to it connects to there email hosting service  I tried telneting directly to from our email server and I was able to connect and issues commands but if I use the nnwcpa domain it disconnects me again.

Any ideas on what the problem could be?

I have disabled 2008 Server Firewall, Forefront Security and just about every advanced feature on the Broadcom nic but nothing has helped.

All the domains we have issues with are hosted on Exim email servers.

It looks like it might be an issue with 2008 Server R2.  I have tried telneting from other 2008 Servers and I have the same problem.  As soon as a telnet to the remote email server and I try to issue a command I get disconnected.

We got it to work, all the domains we were having issues with I pointed the domains directly to the email server via the hosts file.

An mx lookup says is and when I telnet to it I connect to which is

Windows 2003 with Exchange 2007 I can telnet and send email to these domains with no issues.  All of our 2008 R2 Servers on the other hand cannot.  The 2008 R2 Servers only work when I point the domains directly to there hosting services email servers IP.
