I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

But that link explains two way you can use.
Any other way will be difficult or simply impossible, because you will need to use a private API and communicate with the youtube developers.

So here is the client for objc
http://code.google.com/p/gdata-objectivec-client/

download page

and here is youtube sample:

I've downloaded those samples but none of them compile on iphone SDK ? I don't get the option to run under iphone :o(

pgnatyukCommented:
Do you have a list of the compiler's errors?

ST3VOAuthor Commented:
No, just didnt get any option when I opened the sample with xcode to build on iPhone simulator, so I'm guessing it doesnt work on the iphone?

Ok. Actually you could cut/paste the code from these files.
If you are talking about:
http://code.google.com/p/gdata-objectivec-client/source/browse/#svn/trunk/Examples/YouTubeSample

This task is not for a beginner. You saw yourself that not many people have tried to make such application.
It is a serious program that require time that I do not have.

I know what you mean, but this is something that is build-in the 3Gs already ... souldn't I just need to call it from my app?

Hmmm....Sadly it seems that it's not for the iPhone :o/ I wish I could just use the OS X libraries on the iPhone SDK ... Life would be soooooo much easier.

I cannot find any positive information for you in the internet.
So, I'm afraid, the answer for your question will be "not now, there is no documented iPhone API doing this job".
From my point of view, there is a way of using an a server/computer in the middle - you will upload the file on it and then send it from the server to YouTube.
