Streaming Video Calculation

i have a small 1U server running windows server 2008. i dont think bandwidth is a problem because i have a 5meg circuit from broadview networks for my internet connection. i wanted to be able to stream a live camera feed to about 2000 clients but im not sure if the server could handle the connections. what can i use to estimate how many users my server can support and what software can i use to stream out the feed? i was looking into windows streaming services but i wasnt able to find a way to publish a live feed. suggestions/advice?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The problem with streaming video, is that even though you have a 5 Meg connection. That's your maximum download speed. For a feed, it would be your upload speed divided however many people are viewing at ony given time. I would look into an only streaming site such as www.livestream.com , or www.ustream.tv.
