Piechart From Sharepoint KPIs

Hello everyone,

Recently I got to do a task - generating Piechart using Sharepoint KPIs and displaying it onto the site. If it is possible through Sharepoint designer or directly from Site itself, Can anybody help me how to do that.

Thanks.

You could try the Google Chart API approach detailed in this post:

http://www.endusersharepoint.com/2009/04/20/finally-dynamic-charting-in-wss-no-code-required/

It works for WSS or MOSS and I can attest to the fact it literally takes 2 minutes to set up.

My recommendation would be to try/buy Dundas Charts for SharePoint

http://www.dundas.com/Components/Products/Chart/SharePoint/index.aspx

Its a web part that can be configured to display (Pie) charts based on SharePoint list data (KPI list). I believe they have a free eval version.

Dundas is good. I've trialled it on a recent project. It can even connect to legacy excel spreadsheets directly that don't reside in SharePoint.

Price is about $2000 I believe.
