Reinstall Mac OS X Server on Mini

Hi Everyone ....... probably an easy win for those Mac enthusiasts out there, but I recently purchased a Mac Mini with Mac OS X Server and went through the install and setup a few months ago. Unfortunately I had to put that project aside, but now when I pick this up again I want to start from scratch and when I attempt to reinstall I seem to get the same set of services and server name I previously used. I booted to install disk and went through with no obvious option to install from scratch etc. Am I supposed to wipe the drive or something first?

Help!

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I would definitely suggest that you select the option to erase and install. This would eliminate all issues of any old data on the drive.

10.5:
Erase & Install

10.6:
Choose: Disk Utilities in the Tools menu before starting the installation, and erase the disk
Then install the OS from scratch.
(10.6 does not have any E&I option!)
