Lotus Notes Traveler 8.5.1 will not create home page
We just loaded Lotus Notes (LN) Traveler on our Domino 8.5.1 Windows Enterprise Server 2003. The install went just fine with one caveat - Traveler did not create the http://<server>/servlet/travler home page.
Navigating to the servlet/traveler dir. on the server shows a empty folder. In IE when using the address http://<server> it comes up with http://<server>/traveler/index.ht ml - which le's one download the various version for phones; works fine. But clicking on the home page login IE comes up with "page not found" error.
What is also interesting is that when Lotus Traveler.nsf is opened there should be, in the left column Device Security, Device Settings, Devices and Users. All that shows in ours is Device Security, Devices and Users.
Just as background information, we do not have any devices and used the "out of box" settings for the install.

I would uninstall and reinstall. Wipe all Traveler files in between. Be sure on the reinstall that you select "Client and Server."

I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the Traveler. In the setup type I I used the top option "Complete" - that should install server and client files. As I noted, the client files are visible, it is the home page that is not there - in the servlet\traveler folder there is nothing.

I have not tried a fresh download; when I did download it there where no errors and the install did not show any error. But it is worth a try.
Otherwise I'm at a loss. Sorry. Could try 800-IBM-SERV.

A fresh download and install did the trick. The interesting thing was that during the initial install there where no errors.
