Prevent Files from bing moved

We are three weeks into our active directory life and we already having folks moving large numbers of folders to some other part of the disk without realizing it.   Is there a way to setup security to prevent this?

You would have to modify the special permissions of the folders, and take away the Delete options..... When a file is moved, it is first copied, then deleted.....

No there is not, if your users have modify rights to the folders then they have rights to move files and folders and delete them as well.  Your only defense is to train the users well and make sure you have ShadowCopy enabled on the drives so you can revert back easily if needed.  This is a real common problem, my own mother is a legal secretary and about once a year I get a frantic call from her that she accidentally moved a huge folder structure to an unknown location.

The best you can do is create such library folders with read-only permissions.
