Running Exchange 2010 Schema Preparation
Environment: Forest and Domain functional levels at Windows 2003, one exchange server and one domain.
A few weeks back I ran the schema update in preparation to bring Exchange 2007 into the existing Exchange 2003 org.....the two versions will need to co-exist for a period of time.
The update ran successfully, and I get a clean report from ExBPA and the 2007 readiness check.
I've since decided to skip the 2007 install and go straight to Exchange 2010.
After running the Exchange 2010 Pre-Deployment Analyzer, of course it tells me that the schema needs to be updated for Exchange 2010.....
Any gotchas I should be aware of since I've already run the Exchange 2007 schema update ?
Logically, I'm thinking I'll be OK running the setup /PrepareSchema for Exchange 2010 ??
Any insight would be appreciated......thank you.
