"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Have you looked at the eximstats script?

Hello tmeunier;

How i could use this command to resolve the above questions?
I don't have exim currently installed.  However, I believe your questions are answered in the default set of statistics that eximstats script outputs.  According to its man page online, you can just run
eximstats -nr /var/spool/exim/log/mainlog.01
 (or whatever logfile name & path fit your environment) (the "-nrin the example removes relayed mail)

More documentation of all of its switches can be obtained by running
 perldoc /usr/exim/bin/eximstats

There are options to output as HTML, plain-text, and Excel file formats.  It's non-intrusive, please experiment with switches.  The per-day stats you're looking for should already be mirrored by your logfile rotation, so I believe the default settings will suffice for you.
