Disable number links on iPhone mail client

Is there a way to disable numbers from being clickable within the mail client on an iPhone?

This is via an HTML email footer.

There was a solution for Safari:

But that has no effect on mail.

Pretty sure you can't Not even sure you can do it on your own iPhone (that is to see I can see no way on my iphone to not make numbers clickable in the email client)
Safari yes (as you've found out), I had to do this very thing for license numbers recently that were mistaken for phone numbers and made clickable
