How do I install SQL Server 2005 Management Studio on Windows 7?

There do not appear to be any options when installing SQL 2005 on Windows 7 for installing the Management Studio Tools.  I am running SQL 2005 SP3 which appears to be required for Windows 7.

May I suggest you install SQL Server 2008 as the management studio is more up-to-date:

Hello there,

SQL 2005 SP3 seems to be fine.
But, what version of SQL server did you install? Did you install SQL 2005 express edition OR any other editions.
If you have installed SQL express you will not see any option for SSMS, which will have to be installed seperately.
You can install either 2005 OR 2008 SSMS. 2008 will provide more functionalities. If you are only looking for SQL 2005 for the version 9.00.4053.00, you should just try SQL 2005 SSMS.

You can download them from here
FOR 2005 SSMS

FOR 2008 SSMS

One more thing, also make sure to download the compatible version(32-bit or 64-bit)

Please do let me know the outcome.

Cheers
