Google Calendar 2 days 1 day event

I recently switched from MS Exchange to Google Apps and imported all of my data.  When I am looking at the calendar a one day event (Independence Day) starts at 5:00pm on July 3rd and ends at 5:00pm on July 4th.  Checking posts it was suggested to be a time zone problem but my time zones are correct on my PC and Google apps.  It does this for every event imported which as you can imagine is really frustrating.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This was probably a mismatch between the timezones when you migrated the data.
There is little you can do other than editing the apointments manually.
