Why the Symantec Antivirus and spyware, and Network threat updates not working?

This is using Symantec Endpoint 11.0.2, with one server and 15 workstations. In Server, I can see all the managed clients - all properties, IP, OS version, etc. Recently, I found that most of the clients not receiving latest updates. What should I do?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The clients will be looking to the Endpoint Server for their updates.  You will need to check the Endpoint Server to see if it's receiving the latest updates and update the configuration accordingly if it isn't.

OK - on the Endpoint Server, check the client liveupdate policy to see what the update window is.  If they are set to update at 8:00pm and the clients are turned off, they will never get an update.

We’d all like to think our company’s data is well protected, but when you ask IT professionals they admit the data probably is not as safe as it could be.

SEP 11.0.2 is quite old; the most current version is 11.0.6.  What I would recommend first, before going any further with troubleshooting this version, would be to download and install the latest version.  That may very well fix your problem.  Go to the following website and enter the serial number shown on your latest upgrade certificate:
https://fileconnect.symantec.com/licenselogin.jsp?localeStr=en_US  (that is assuming you are in the US and want to use the English language website)
If you aren't familiar with the Symantec Endpoint Protection product and its administration and deployment, be sure to read the documentation carefully first. If you need additional help after that, post back here with your questions.
