We’d all like to think our company’s data is well protected, but when you ask IT professionals they admit the data probably is not as safe as it could be.

Have you checked the ISO using the md5 checksum to validate whether it is non-corrupted ?

yes i i have edited the vmx already

how can i check the MD5 checksum to validate whether it is non-corrupted

vmwarun - ArunCommented:
On the download page in the VMware Website, the ISO which you have downloaded would have an appropriate md5 checksum value.
Copy that value and paste it in a notepad.
Download WinMD5Sum from this URL - and install it.
Open the installed application and use the browse button to load the ISO.
Paste the md5 value from notepad, if both of them have the same value then the ISO is good else it is corrupted.
