OpsView Remote monitoring

I have an OpsView server running that monitors our local and remote networks. I was asked to monitor 3 servers from a single nat'd address. I was suuccessful in getting nrpe working for the three boxes, but I can't seem to get the snmp monitoring to work, the three servers have ports 171,172,173 nat'd to port 161 on each of the three boxes

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

By default the snmp probe will use 161. Been awhile since I used opsview so I can't remember if you can override the client itself or not. I don't believe you can. I'm pretty sure you will have to create custom snmp probes so they use the required port you need
