I believe you will have to downgrade the system. &nbsp;2008 R2 is 64 bit only. &nbsp;I'm not sure which version you installed on 2008 before, but since R2 is 64 bit only, I'm guessing there never was a 64 bit version of the protocol, since it wasn't supported in 2003 at all and that was the first version of Windows to support x64 platforms.

I was able to successfully install NetBeui on a Server 2008 Standard x32 Server with no issues at all. The posts are 100% correct NetBeui is NOT supported on a X64 Server.

Hi. Due to certain types of connections I'm forced to install the unsupported Netbeui protocol on a Windows 2008 R2 server. I was able to install it during testing on a Windows 2008 32 bit standard ed server but when I tried to install the protocol on this server it tells me that it can't find the driver for it. Any ideas?
