Hard to tell you what Intel might consider they &quot;need&quot; to do in the future, especially if they are already providing the S.M.A.R.T. monitoring themselves..... But they do &quot;admit&quot; to it as an &quot;ISSUE&quot; so hopefully we can expect future &quot;compatibility&quot; with other applications.<br />
