Word 2007 very slow on Windows 7 x64 pro

Hi we just bought a new PC
Quadcore, Windows 7 x64 pro - 6 GB RAM....
had instlled Office 2003, sp3 on it worked fine for a few days
then today Word decided to come to a halt, opening, closing, Word files, editing the Word file, was so slow, uninstalled Office 2003, instlled 2007 Office, installed Sp2... sme issue with Word 2007, Excel, Outlook are fine.
just Word.

any ides on whats going on?

Try turning off all Add-Ins in Word.

If that does not work, try disabling the IP version 6 on the NIC card.
