closed email by mistake

If, while typing an email in outlook, and closed it by mistake, and there is draft saved, could it be possibly still available in any temp files?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If there is a draft saved, then yes. It would be in your Draft folder

If you close out an email and you didnt save and there is no draft, I dont think you can retrieve it.

If you dont have a draft then no.

Just because you started typing something, doesnt mean that you will have a temp file somewhere. You would have had to have it open for a little while, in order to make it a draft, or save it.

I would say no there is no copy.

If you write any emails and if you have not saved it, then it will not appear anyhere. Outlook does not keep the copies of the emails in any folder on the hard disc. If you have saved it, it will appear in draft.
