Drupal development with Dropbox?

Hi folks,

I'm learning Drupal and would like to have access to a local dev site available on both my laptop and desktop computers through Dropbox, using MAMP as well.

The Drupal files I figure should be no problem, but I'm not sure how to make the database usable within Dropbox.

Any suggestions?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I don't imagine this would work in any acceptable fashion to have it run IN dropbox - however if you look at the backup-and-migrate module

http://drupal.org/project/backup_migrate

you can quickly backup your database and make that backup available on drupal - you may can even set your dropbox folder to be your htdocs folder and keep your site synched filewise that way.  When you are done working on your laptop run your backup and migrate (usually it's default settings are best) and it will create a backup in your sites/default/files/backup-migrate/manual directory.  Then when you are ready to work on your desktop go to your back-up-and migrate and restore the database -

Good luck
